Our Sencha Fukamushi Japanese tea leaves come from the hills of Uji near Kyoto, Japan, conveying the authentic taste and tradition of Japanese tea.
This original tea gets its unique aroma from the blend of Sencha and Gyokuro tea leaves that have undergone a special steaming process called Fukamushi. Gyokuro gives the tea a subtle sweet taste, while Sencha brings a refreshing aroma. The longer steeping time results in a delicate, mild flavor and light green color that make this tea exceptional and ideal for iced tea.
Preparing this delicious tea is quick and easy. Simply put the desired amount of tea leaves in the teapot, pour 70°C hot water and let the tea steep for 2-4 minutes.
